I've covered this before with the caveat that I refer to lads specifically because the lasses very rarely get involved in bickering as they tend to have better things to.

Having said that, I would not like to get on the wrong side of most of the females on this board.

I was talking to my Mam about it all last night on the phone as she went to Ukraine early 00's on a teacher's delegation and was really taken with it, brought me back a Ukranian Football Scarf.

She was saying when she was there the kids were having a debate on whether Freedom or Food was more important, and Freedom was resounding winner. Interesting to think most of those kids will now be fighting, and of the years of ideals behind what they're fighting for. Said there was a local election on as well, like for the mayor or whatever, and hundreds of people were out for it and really invested in the process of democracy.

I almost envy them the struggle. (Not the tanks and the bombs bit mind). I think we have lost something in UK.

Yes I saw that earlier, sickening. That poor little girl man, in her unicorn pyjamas getting murdered is absolutely heartbreaking. Her mam and dad were broken, horrible stuff and I hope there will be justice for her and everyone else bless them

Looks like the indiscriminate bombing of Kharkiv and Kyiv has started. Hopefully the majority of their civilians are sheltered in bunkers.

At some point they will need to stop bombing and enter the cities. Hope the Ukrainians give them f***ing hell

Yup they need to hunker down until the advancement, then pop up with their Molotovs and RPGs. Hopefully they've got heavier stuff to hand, I'm sure quite a bit has been sent.
