If I heard it correctly their ambassador at UN has just done thatCall me cynical but this suggests to me that there’ll be ongoing attacks on residential and civilian areas that he’ll blame on Ukraine itself.

I’ve been driving so missed the last hour or so.If I heard it correctly their ambassador at UN has just done that
dropping what appear to cluster bbombs on them is iircIsn’t directly attacking civilians and their homes a war crime? Has Putin just admitted to war crimes?
Translated: peace talks will finish in 5 minutes which thout agreement.Translated, "Russia will continue to wage war, but maybe with fewer war crimes, as long as we're sitting at the same table."

Out of all of this tragedy, it’s the single most wonderful thing that I’ve been clinging on to. The global community is united, from the f***ing judo federation, to the Brazilian Government. From the Polish bloke driving a refugee to Czechia, to the EU and the world coming together to cripple the Russian economy. The line in Balham High Street - people taking donations of clothes and supplies to a charity for refugees in Poland.Absolutely incredible to see what the international community are capable of if they choose to be. Never seen anything close to this sort of thing in my lifetime and I doubt many people twice my age have either.
What have you added today that is thread topic relevant that others may find helpful?
There, fixed.I wish Truss would stop saying anything at all, since she's clearly far out of her depth
Yes there is. I can conceive of it. I can also watch it on twitter as tanks turn to run over occupied civilian vehicles and similar Russian-style niceties like short-range rocket barrages being fired into residential districts and the like.
It’s a financial hit list and nothing wrong with saying as such.I wish Truss would stop saying Hit List
Dropping cluster munitions in residential areas is a pretty hard one to defend. And hitting residential skyscrapers with short range rockets...well, um, they're almost line-of-sight weapons systems, so what the hell else did they think they were going to hit?Rockets landing on buildings doesn't mean you're targeting civilians, there's a difference between explicitly targeting and being a consequence. It's terrible either way but there's a distinguishable difference.
Also the famous clip of the tank running over the car was actually a Ukrainian tank, which was in conflict. It wasn't on purpose was it.

I've seen other footage of a Russian tank going down the middle of a street going over several cars without any thought.Rockets landing on buildings doesn't mean you're targeting civilians, there's a difference between explicitly targeting and being a consequence. Only if you signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions treaty. Unsurprisingly, Russia haven't signed updropping what appear to cluster bbombs on them is iirc
