3yrs???? Hope Putin invades us next, that’s one way of getting around the Schengen Agreement post BrexitThe Eu have extended it. To three years as I understand.
What are we doing? What happens after 90 days?
They'll be watching carefully to see if the price the West imposes on Russia is worth incurring. They might not fancy it given how much trade they do with the West.
Would be nice but once this is over it’ll be China and Taiwan next.
In reply to some fool who referred to his being "class"But it was you that diverted the thread! Someone posted Byrant's letter to the Russian Ambassador (on topic) and you started banging on about his personal life.
They were also part of the group who told Urkaine to give up nukes in return for protection.Haven't the US said they will defend Taiwan if China attack?
The West were a bit slow initially but now they seem to be getting their act together. Poland in particular have shown themselves to be rising to the challenge. I suppose they are forced to be at the front line but they are doing wellI think the West's joined up response will have surprised a few. Just goes to show we are not the damp squid some imagined, it might take a while but back us into a corner and you will get bitten. Especially if your money is here.
China have got to cross the sea and Taiwans military is very advanced, so hopefully it won’t happen.Would be nice but once this is over it’ll be China and Taiwan next.
Because it’s how previously ignorant people e themselves look clever by showing that they’ve learnt something…it’s excellent for looking down your nose towards the thickies who keep saying Kievbut why now?

Do you reckon Russia will be able to/ willing to afford a long drawn out conflict?Unfortunately it's only very early in the game. No fucker is bothered about Afghanistan at the moment and I fear this conflict will be long running with Russian occupancy and an insurgency.
Bravo that man!!!!!To me there is a bigger picture to this. If we are to move forward in any meaningful way then whatever NATO style organisation emerges from this needs to include Russia too if we are to progress. A huge ask, I know, and fuck knows how we get there, but enough enough of this east/west shite.
Do you reckon Russia will be able to/ willing to afford a long drawn out conflict?
Not when the leader is already 70 and hiding somewhere.Do you reckon Russia will be able to/ willing to afford a long drawn out conflict?
Would you like to come and join nato, lets have a meeting, bring along what you’d like from the organisation and let’s see if we can work out a deal that suits everyone? How do you invite a dictator state into NATO?
This has changed the world.I wonder if Ukraine gave up the two rebel held regions permanently that seem to be less keen to be Ukranian, would Putin take that as a victory, cut his losses (and give up fragile gains) elsewhere and this could be put on the back burner again. NATO decides it doesn't want to expand and we all go back to being bad neighbours.
This has changed the world.
