We take some hope from the videos of Russian ground forces being met with resistance. As currently being demonstrated in Kharkiv its the rockets, bombs and planes that will do the damage.

The Kyiv Independent@KyivIndependent·11m⚡️National Bank of Ukraine receives Hr 1 billion ($33 million) in support for armed forces.

Earlier, the bank had opened a special account where Ukrainians and foreigners can donate money to support the military.
Not taking issue with this, but genuinely interested, what good is cash to the soldiers/military at this stage?

The Kyiv Independent@KyivIndependent·1m⚡️JPMorgan: Russian economy to shrink by fifth in second quarter.

Throughout the whole year, the decline will be about 3.5% with inflation rising to 10% or even higher as a result of tightening political and economic isolation, global financial company JPMorgan forecasted.

Some of this government will have the same mind set as him that’s the problem.

Let’s face it everyone close to Putin has been hand selected by him, not only will they be of the same mind set they owe everything they have to him, they’re not going to take him out

Russians are blaming Liz Truss for the escalation of there nuclear policies.

Clear as day they’ll target us first if he does decide to push.

In fairness as much as they need to fuckoff, she does need to keep her mouth shut a bit. Coming out and saying we should fight Russians in her capacity is absolutely ridiculous.
She's addressing the HOC this afternoon. We'll all be vaporized by teatime 😪

The Russian economy is actually quite small, about the equivalent of Italy I believe, they deal alot internally and are quiet self sufficient so it’ll be more difficult than usual to hurt their economy.
