Some pretty nasty videos online of what's happening to people in Kharkiv. Bad enough seeing buildings destroyed but this is dead and injured civilians lying in the street.

Completely agree to be honest, it’s frustrating but I understand that trying to change our path to being self-sufficient is as difficult as trying to turn a frigate in a pond. I’m young and optimistic so I believe that we’ll get there, and that this crisis will bring a renewed goal of sustainability for countries, so that we don’t have to rely on the maniacs who run the oil and gas world. COP should have been the turning point, unfortunately it is the blood of thousands of working class men, women and children that is causing our governments to wake up to the mess that should have been apparent years ago. It’s sickening.

Liz Truss thinks that people will see her standing in front of Red Square wearing a winter hat, looking for all the world like a philomena cunk wannabe, and think “yes, she’s a natural leader.”

I wouldn’t give too much credit to “the world”.
