Asian markets about to open. Going to be a bloodbath one way or another. So much for tightening monetary policy. the Fed, B f E and ECB will be flooding the world with liquidity once again. Unknown territory here, removing a major country from swift and freezing assets of central bank.
They don't take prisoners at that level, marra.

I prefer the Amazon Prime scenario, a load of missiles being hurtled around the pot hole ridden roads of Ukraine in knackered old Mercedes’ sprinters with not one fuck given for the contents inside

Our place used to do regular deliveries to a few of the barracks around the NE. Once a crate got dropped and the lid came off only for the forklift driver to find what he thought was a bomb inside.

We kept it up for a while until someone told him it was just the outer casing 🤣

Isn’t the current government rushing through a bill that aims to restrict the right to protest? Pretty sure it gives police the power to arrest people who cause “mild annoyance”

It’s a slippery slope

It's nothing to do with arresting people causing "mild annoyance". It is designed to prevent protests that involve excessive and disproportinate actions. We have all images or videos from recent protests destroying property and bringing whole road networks to a standstill and no reasonable person should consider that acceptable.

Try reading the policy paper rather than twitter.

He's been top class during this crisis - at least give credit where it's due and leave your political bias to one side 👍

He hasn’t been top class. He hasn’t done much wrong but he hasn’t exactly done anything special either. He’s been no better than Macron or any other EU leader

Appreciate your side need a win and will be looking to this crisis to provide it

Steve walks warily down the street
With his brim pulled way down low
Ain't no sound but the sound of his feet
Machine guns ready to go
Are you ready hey are you ready for this?
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat yeah..........

He didn't say "start accepting refugees".
You've either deliberately tried to misrepresent what was said in order to imply that they were refused entry to begin with, or you haven't bothered to listen to the source yourself.

He said "Of course we're going to take refugees ..".

The UK has always taken in refugees and that hasn't changed with Ukraine.
It's not difficult to understand.
They can’t get here. It’s moot. They need to open up a corridor.

I think the point is-there's only one side here, Ukraine's.
