I would never under estimate the bravery of Russian soldiers but they do have a very long history (with a few exceptions) of being led by some of the most incompetent generals who ever put on a row of medals. I can therefore believe it when some experts point to the Russians as having among other things very serious logistical and organisational problems in mounting this invasion.

It might be all part of a cunning plan and you could be right but what stopped them from doing it last night? If they entre rthe centre of Kyiv tonight its pretty clear the the Ukranians are not going to quit any time soon. I think that fact might have just dawned on a lot of people around Putin who probably thought that the whole thing was going to be a 72 hr exercise.
