Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

Seems to be a fair few stories coming out now of caught Russian soldiers saying they didn't realise they were invading and have been lied to. I honestly hope and think this will all end eventually with Putin overthrown from within or by the will of the Russian people. Would be the perfect outcome.

Imagine being told you’re going in a training exercise only to see your fellow soldiers get blown up and killed. It’s the making of a revolt.

I don't believe this honestly. Your telling me that they've ran out and their supply lines are that bad after 3 days?

Yet in the last war in Europe Germany went from Poland to Moscow with horseback logistics.
Others will know better, but I believe tanks get around 1mpg and they have lots of them spread about all over Ukraine. I'd be surprised if they weren't running out of fuel.

Unless they were all briefed to say exactly that if captured.

I would say something similar to be fair

Fair play to the Poles. Definitely stepping up to the plate regarding the refugees. Heartwarming to watch the firefighters and ordinary people greeting people off coaches, processing them and giving them a very friendly welcome. I'd like to think that our country would do the same. Almost in tears listening to a young Polish lad who is supplying tea, coffee and biscuits as people leave the coaches. "They are like us, the only difference, they were born on the other side of the boarder" very humbling 😪

Really -what’s his reasoning ?
He works for Fox News first of all. Anything they can do to make a democratic government look weak they will do it. They interviewed trump today as well so still give him a voice.

If you’re on Twitter look at some of his clips. The blokes a lunatic. So far up trumps ass aswell

The two things won’t be connected.

Wish people would stop using this to point score at home. We’ve behaved very well in this - dare I say leading the ROW at times.
We haven’t implemented sanctions yet due to letters from oligarchs lawyers, world leading?

This sort of made me smile because in the scheme of sanctions and actions it seems quite trivial but actually, given his ego and his love of power, it will probably be something that pisses him right off

The more “little” things like this add up, the more it makes Putin smaller and the Rest of the World bigger. It shows, small move by small move, that the global community is against him.

I’m actually taking all of my positivity and optimism from gestures like this. Turkey refusing access to the Black Sea, Swift, judo, UEFA, Anonymous all of that stuff. It’s the global community coming out and telling Putin he’s a bully and he can go and fuck himself. I don’t think he banked on this.
