We are building up our numbers in the region. I genuinely think we will be there defending Kiev before too long.

“British forces have arrived in eastern Europe to bolster NATO’s eastern flank.

Royal Navy ships, British Army troops and Royal Air Force fighters have been deployed.

HMS Trent is in the eastern Mediterranean, according to the Ministry of Defence (MoD), with helicopters and patrol aircraft. HMS Diamond, a destroyer, will join from Portsmouth.

Tanks and armoured units from the Royal Welsh have arrived in Estonia from Germany, with 1,000 troops arriving in the next few days. This means the British presence will double.”

The reports I’ve read are that it was a Ukrainian Strela 10 that was taken by Russian saboteurs.

Sorry I thought people were trying to say that it was the Ukrainians that committed this awful act on their own people.

I think they probably do that pretty much every day, yes

I don't think their operations and involvement is going to change at all though. They'll be even more circumspect and careful not to provoke them if anything

Stuff posted like that does seem to resonate though.

There’s a widely circulated video at the moment of a guy sending his wife and little girl on a bus. It’s all translated but the premise is there that he’s staying in Ukraine.

It is a powerful video, though I have no idea if it’s authentic or not.

To be clear, I’m not a propaganda spreader or an expert in spotting photoshopped pictures. I just thought it was a sad image.
