Give you were supposedly born in the late 40s, you’d have to be massively ignorant to not know
Not like you who has total knowledge of all cultures, and if that were actually true you'd act more worldly and respect others opinions, which your posting history suggests you don't.

Engage with me, and you'll get honest debate...name call and you'll get zilch.

Countries like Norway, UK and the US need to massively up Gas and oil production at least for the short term, even for the medium term, if as it seems likely that this stand off will last for years.
At this stage, we should fire the coal plants back up and start building Nuclear power stations immediately

Putin wants talks in Belarus on the condition that Ukraine de-militarises, but Ukraine want them in Warsaw.

Russian diplomacy: Just put down your gun and come into this dark very neutral shed with me.
They should agree to it, on the condition Putin withdraws all Russian troops back ove rthe border.

Usual suspects spouting the Farage line that Putin's a real leader and this whole thing is the fault of NATO/EU.
its why Russia were happy to have them on the payroll for so long. They knew they would call in the favour at some point and need these individuals to publicly support them.

I just saw that the American Fox News bloke Tucker Carlson has been cheering on Russia to such an extreme that they are now actually showing highlights of his show on RT.

I can see that view point and why it would be tricky but (I might be completely wrong here) can they not turn on the coal fired power stations like we do when we are desperate? I'm not sure if you can just swap coal and gas mind.

Or just but it off the worldmarket and overpay? Let the European bank subsidise the additional costs? There must be something?

They won't care until politically, the lives of the Ukrainian people cost more than gas.

Sooner the world is off fossil fuels the better.

To be honest I don’t know but certainly Germanys problem is that they have been decommissioning their 16 nuclear power stations the last one of which was switched off this year. That was a political decision driven by the Green Party who are an effective political party in German, I don’t think it’s an easy matter to turn a nuclear plant back on
