Agree, been speaking to a few pals who really want to go over and help, I know that’s not what the governments or public want but it’s in the nature, war is hell and I hope and pray to god we get the right outcome what ever that will be.

If I were still in the military, I wouldn't have been happy to go to Iraq based on lies from our own PM. I'd have gone, because that was my job, but not believing in it. But I'd be front and centre for this fucker mate.

Ukraine Ministry of Defence asking the general public to make and use Molotovs against the invaders!

I'd like to think I'd be one of the volunteers who asked for arms but I'd probably be a quivering mess. Got the utmost respect for any civilian doing so.

If NATO countries were willing to put troops directly up against Russia, could they not just have awarded Ukraine associate membership of NATO from today for example?

Quite a powerful speech. He seems like a very respected leader. He knows that he is target number one and his family are targets number 2 (which says a lot about putin) but he’s staying where he is, probably knowing deep down there’s a massive chance he will get killed.

Interesting story to him. Six years ago he created and starred in a series about a common man becoming president and that’s how became so popular. His party is the same name as the tv show. I think whatever happens, he’s gained a massive amount of respect from around the world.

I would be extremely proud but extremely sad. We moan about absolute minutiae on here but when something like this happens to your homeland then you are literally fighting for your life.
