I admire Putin as a leader
I'm genuinely shocked at that. He has third world conditions in his country and sends 16 year olds off to war.

I admire Putin as a leader
Has he mentioned the Battle of Balaclava yet?Johnson giving his statement to the Commons now
He’s politically infiltrated the west before and after Crimea. It’s all been part of his plan. An evil evil man, in the same category as Hitler, Gadaffi, SadamI'm amazed I'm classed as a gammonI admire Putin as a leader however he has well overstepped the mark here. He's a prick. I do wonder why it has taken him so long to up the ante though after his excursion into crimea.
Western leaders and that UN Ukraine bloke need to appeal to the Russian soldiers to ask themselves "if they think this is wrong then stop and disobey orders and rebel against Putin"FFS man, they are fathers and sons with families doing the job they have been ordered to. I’m appalled at Putin but it doesn’t mean I want to see Russian soldiers lose their lives because of his lunacy any more than I want too see Ukrainians lose theirs.

fans faultI'm not sure there'd be war.
If Ukraine had accepted its place within the Russian sphere of influence its unlikely that people would be cowering in basements all over Ukraine.
It's like they weren't watching what happened to Georgia

I’d like any conflicts to be decided with the minimum loss of life on both sides, I won’t apologise for that. I won’t be cheering any killing just as I didn’t cheer the deaths of Iraq citizens at the hands of our troops. There’ll be time after the fighting to mourn both sides. If the Germans had invaded in the 40s, would you be appalled at people cheering the deaths of every German invader?
Yes, I'm aware of the NATO nations' military presences there (not huge in numbers, but not zero). But when push comes to shove, I really don't know what happens. We've had RAF air patrols rotating through the Baltic states for well over a decade
I admire Putin as a leader
A year from now when it comes out that Boris barely took action as he accepted Russian money I can already see him saying he didn’t know it was Russian money.I expect boris to tut, say something about sanctions then scurry off to suck some Russian oligarchs dick.

Its like (beats wife) "look what you made me do! If only you hadn't annoyed me it would be great"fans fault![]()
That'll work out well for the soldiers.Western leaders and that UN Ukraine bloke need to appeal to the Russian soldiers to ask themselves "if they think this is wrong then stop and disobey orders and rebel against Putin"
i've been listening to it all on the wireless today. it's so sad. saw a couple of pictures of some of the soldiers and they're just bairns man.The reality of war - f***ing horrible.
No idea how anyone could actively wish for such a thing.
