Anti-war protests in St Petersburg. Very brave people.
Seems to be a lot of them. Hopefully this encourages more. Russia should be friends with the west, not an enemy.

FFS man, they are fathers and sons with families doing the job they have been ordered to. I’m appalled at Putin but it doesn’t mean I want to see Russian soldiers lose their lives because of his lunacy any more than I want too see Ukrainians lose theirs.Come on Ukraine. Keep sinking bullets into the Ruskis.
This brought a tear to my eyesThis got me

The opposition and experts raised concerns over the visit of Imran Khan, describing it as “ill-timed”. Michael Kugelman of the Wilson Center in the US said:What a time I haveYou must be logged on to see external links. So much excitement.
Khan was in Moscow when Kyiv witnessed military attacks. Indian media, suchThere is a risk that Khan’s visit to Moscow will be perceived by many in the West as an indirect endorsement of Putin’s decree on eastern Ukraine-a move that much of the world has condemned and that Pakistan itself likely does not support.
Even though Khan’s visit was planned weeks ago and focuses on bilateral relations, the timing will raise eyebrows and present some problems of optics.
Pakistan and the US do not enjoy cordial relations and the US blames Pakistan for its dubious role in Afghanistan. There is no cancellation of the visit, PM Khan will be meeting President Putin as per schedule. Khan’s planned interaction with the media has been cancelled.
Imran Khan has consistently signalled his derision for the US and the west while also seeking economic assistance. The timing of his visit to will only reaffirm his anti-Western worldview.
The image of Pakistan’s prime minister next to soon after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine will not endear Pakistan to Americans or western Europeans.
Explain why you think he wants Ukraine? That’s history. Where are the facts now that he wants to invade other countries? It’s blatantly obvious why he wants Ukraine.
It'll be the hackers and script kiddies, fairly sure anonymous have already threatened shit.Looks like someone’s taken down the Kremlin official website.
The common Russian person is as anti-war as any of us. The elite will try and divide us for their own benefit, but it'll be working-class lads on both sides dying for a bit of land, and it won't be the politicians, the bankers, royalty, the rich etc. People need to always remember that.Seems to be a lot of them. Hopefully this encourages more. Russia should be friends with the west, not an enemy.

I see men defending their country, actions have consequences war is hell as I’ve said before, not all of this army are conscripted they are happy to be part of an invading force.FFS man, they are fathers and sons with families doing the job they have been ordered to. I’m appalled at Putin but it doesn’t mean I want to see Russian soldiers lose their lives because of his lunacy any more than I want too see Ukrainians lose theirs.
Do you think our brave troops ordered into Iraq and other war zones by our government should have just surrendered there? If that's the case then the Russian troops that aren't wanting this should surrender.
