Not once did I mention being safer. I said any serious discussion around disarmament is over.

I can’t be wrong about something I never said.
Fair enough I misinterpreted your comments. I don't think the conversation ever ends though, it's socially, militarily, and economically infallible to have them.

Who are Putin's backers?

Those that were present at that theatrical meeting he had the other day all seemed terrified of him.

Surely they wouldn't be too opposed to him being moved on.

I'd like to go one step further and move the politics board put of the SMB. Sometimes there's a thread title at the top of board that looks like an interesting topic, so you get drawn in, only to see it's the usual story of the same posters blaming it on Brexit/remainers/the Tories/Labour ad infinitum.

Hide it next to the help desk, it's where most of the posters who use it belong.
I think Brexit and a shambolic government probably have a more direct impact on most people on here than the conflict in the Ukraine.

Terrified puppets.

All the supposed oligarch supporters of his would soon crumble away if their wealth is threatened through prolonged war and sanctions man.

Most of them aren't even politically motivated, money is all they care about.

Putin getting the Ukraine does not make the threat to us greater than it already is. It's not making him stronger.
I answered the intervention question in my last post. When NATO decide it's time, then it's time.
Oh but it does.

Economically stronger. It pushes them into second place globally on grain production. As well as all of ukraine uranium and other rare earth metals. It gives putin huge leverage.

Taking Putin out in a surgical manor is the best case scenario. Would the next person who takes over in Russia be any better though? No one knows.

Again... Russian nuclear doctrine. Would trigger a response.

Heard a few musings on here about Salisbury but assassination of a world leader (who has nuke briefcase) would be... Er... Risky. Let's put it like this... You better not miss.
