Fair enough I misinterpreted your comments. I don't think the conversation ever ends though, it's socially, militarily, and economically infallible to have them. Not once did I mention being safer. I said any serious discussion around disarmament is over.
I can’t be wrong about something I never said.
They are just the first wave, the second will come in tooled up.And seeing pictures of captured russian teen soldiers has knocked me sick. Putin using kids to fight his dirty f***ing war, he needs putting down the reckless cowardly ****.
I hate him.
I'd like to go one step further and move the politics board put of the SMB. Sometimes there's a thread title at the top of board that looks like an interesting topic, so you get drawn in, only to see it's the usual story of the same posters blaming it on Brexit/remainers/the Tories/Labour ad infinitum.
Hide it next to the help desk, it's where most of the posters who use it belong.
I think Brexit and a shambolic government probably have a more direct impact on most people on here than the conflict in the Ukraine.
a state-sponsored assassination is tantamount to a declaration of warHow difficult would it be to simply take Putin out?
Question still stands. Do you want to go and give up your life in the cause? Some of us believe that it’s not just defending them, it’s defending ourselves before things get worse and exponentially more deadly.
To be replaced by another power mad dictator?Who are Putin's backers?
Those that were present at that theatrical meeting he had the other day all seemed terrified of him.
Surely they wouldn't be too opposed to him being moved on.
a state-sponsored assassination is tantamount to a declaration of war
(it also violates numerous treaties as well)
plus these dictator types tend to be awfully well guarded
Terrified puppets.Who are Putin's backers?

Oh but it does.Putin getting the Ukraine does not make the threat to us greater than it already is. It's not making him stronger.
I answered the intervention question in my last post. When NATO decide it's time, then it's time.
Taking Putin out in a surgical manor is the best case scenario. Would the next person who takes over in Russia be any better though? No one knows.
But.... it's dead easy on the tellya state-sponsored assassination is tantamount to a declaration of war

I can’t believe people f***ing ask that questiona state-sponsored assassination is tantamount to a declaration of war

That's what I'm getting at.To be replaced by another power mad dictator?
Nice to see him showing some sort of support for Vlad, however the f***ing quizling. To be fair he’s a plumb but this is against nato and the west and has been an issue since 2014 if not earlier.
tbf, you'd better not hit.Again... Russian nuclear doctrine. Would trigger a response.
Heard a few musings on here about Salisbury but assassination of a world leader (who has nuke briefcase) would be... Er... Risky. Let's put it like this... You better not miss.
Depends who we send in. Bond or Jack Ryan? How difficult would it be to simply take Putin out?
Hasn't stopped America from doing it to democratically elected South American leaders throughout their history.a state-sponsored assassination is tantamount to a declaration of war
