You'll find very few posts on this forum from me in recent months.

Why would you even look to see if I've posted anyway?
I find your posts very interesting indeed, as i have done for about 5 years now, between this account and my old one cissesunderpants19, so what do you think of the situation...

I know it hardly needs said but the world is fucked when you have people like this in charge.

Absolutely mental isn’t it
.
.
PUTIN: "To anyone who would consider interfering from the outside: if you do, you will face consequences greater than any you have faced in history. All relevant decisions have been taken. I hope you hear me."

HOLY FUCK HES INSANE, thats a nuke threat
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Vlad clearly feels secure in his own tsar-like skin.

No press to criticise him and even though most Russians see Ukraine as kin, they will struggle to do anything.

The West has found his limit. He's simply not prepared to have another NATO country on his border.

It's a shame for Ukraine, but they're now royally f*cked

SICKENING!!!
someone already posted that his clothes and posture were all exactly the same as the message he sent out on tuesday. including a crease in his jacket - exactly the same. so he did it then.

So what then? What if Putin invades another country, then another, then another? Do we let Putin get away with whatever he wants, to avoid nuclear war?

If Putin was to invade the UK would you say we shouldn’t retaliate because it might risk nuclear war?
He's not invading Britain or a NATO country. Let's stick to facts not whataboutery.

We all condemn this aggression but Ukraine isn't a part of NATO. We can impose sanctions and provide military aid to hurt Russia but If we send troops in then get ready for a real risk of an escalation into nuclear war. Thankfully no prospect of that happening, ie troops being sent.

That’s perfectly summed up.
Best left where they are.
The goons and trolls that constantly moan about brexit. How shit this country is and how vile it's electorate is for voting in a Tory government. Now really do have something to piss moan and worry about.

Not based on the example you gave. Every other Western democracy had the same rules and we’re the first to remove all restrictions.
I didn’t even mention the pandemic

The police and crime bill
The change to the independence of the electoral commission

Two huge examples

You don’t understand what democracy is if you’re bleating about pandemic restrictions.

If we attempt to at this point, we could be endangering civilian lives across the world.

The Russians wouldn’t just back off.

We could. But does that mean we should not intervene? Civilian lives are either going to be lost or be living under Russian oppression in Ukraine.

I find it really hard to accept that we are just giving up and letting Ukraine fall.

I know exactly what democracy is, I just don’t agree with you.

One potential bit of saving grace is that Putin wants to rebuild the USSR. If he pushes the red button so do the US, UK, France etc and they’ll be nowt left to hVe a USSR on.
Putin has made himself one of the richest men on earth for a reason.
Money will be no use if nuclear war starts
He knows that.

can the UN deploy peackeepers if a member of the Security Council says 'niet'

can thr UN deploy peacekeepers if the current president of the UN Security Council says 'niet'

its a serious question - i dont know the answer (but i assume it's 'niet')
correct, and Russia and China have permanent seats.

I never said he was. You said we shouldn’t take action because that risks nuclear war. So I was asking what your threshold is for action.

Would you send troops if it was Estonia?

We aren’t, they’re being given assistance in ways that woke provoke the almost unimaginable.

I can see your point bud but.....If we do try to stop Russia now, where will it end?

I'm not going to go down the line of "it's not your life you are asking to be sacrificed" but will the British people be willing to watch the death toll of our forces rise? What if the west were to start getting the upper hand? Is Putin crazy enough to go nuclear? Tactical? Strategic?

Not sure about nuclear but if we the U.K. put troops into Ukraine I could see him launching a missile or two into Our military bases wherever they are
