Was looking through twitter and saw the full vid. Plus what I assume is the events leading up to that with people fleeing and the guy being blown into the air. Absolutely insane stuff like that is happening.
Haven't seen that, seen footage that looks like it was taken further up the road but after the event.

Haven't seen the buildup but this shows a bit more of aftermath as you see the turret in that pic at the end of this video. I hope it's OK given that it's blurred and I don't get a warning.

Tweet says "Ukrainian Army struck Russian forces in an area close to Kharkov. 1 tank and many armored vehicles were destroyed."

What’s the alternative? Fight? Putin has already mentioned the nuclear option…is it really worth calling his bluff?
What's the alternative ....let Putin do exactly what he wants ,when he wants ...because he won't stop at Ukraine .

Why do we have to be the worlds policemen, involving ourselves in every conflict that occurs?
We should do our duty as members of NATO, and stop behaving like we are the equal of the worlds superpowers. We are not.
How many British lives have been wasted chasing egotistical Politicians dreams, such as the Blair Middle East debacle. Not picking on Blair, because subsequent leaders have all followed his lead.
This isn’t about global policing, it’s about stopping an tyrant getting strong enough to pose a threat on us and even more destruction of Europe. This isn’t Iraq.

At what point would you consider appropriate to intervene militarily?

My point is if they’re not part of this NATO organisation then what’s the point in these leaders coming out telling Putin off.

NATO: “We strongly condemn your invasion of Ukraine. Withdraw immediately.”

Putin: “I couldn’t give a fuck.”

NATO: “…Please withdraw.”

Putin couldn’t give a toss about so-called ‘sanctions’.

You trust the clowns that have let this happen to sit back and make a plan to stop it happening again? They don’t give a fuck about it happens as they are payed well enough by Russians not to care.
No, I don’t trust them which is exactly why I don’t want the U.K. or nato to get involved. As harsh as it is, this needs to be chalked down to being a really shit thing for everyone involved apart from Putin.

I suspect the western superpowers know this as well hence the Reluctance to get involved. The stakes are far too high with this fucker

Interesting, it seems China is linking itself with Russia

Inevitable and depressing. In nuclear times it seems those that are less inclined to care about ordinary people dying will win!

Russian or Ukrainian, to see that dead soldier just left there is heartbreaking

There’s got to be condemnation, there’s got to be something, a club statement so to speak, but there doesn’t have to be action.

Corbyn and his cabal are not happy with NATO's 'eastward expansion'

Apparently the UK is 'indicating disdain for Russian concerns'

From 'Stop The War' press release today :

...Instead, the British government has sent arms to Ukraine and deployed further troops to Eastern Europe, moves which serve no purpose other than inflaming tensions and indicating disdain for Russian concerns.

It has also declared that Ukraine has a “sovereign right” to join NATO, when no such right exists to join it or any other military alliance.

Britain needs to change its policy, and start working for peace, not confrontation.

Stop the War believes that Russia and Ukraine should reach a diplomatic settlement of the tensions between them, on the basis of the Minsk-2 agreement already signed by both states.

It believes NATO should call a halt to its eastward expansion and commit to a new security deal for Europe which meets the needs of all states and peoples.

We refute the idea that NATO is a defensive alliance, and believe its record in Afghanistan, Yugoslavia and Libya over the last generation, not to mention the US-British attack on Iraq, clearly proves otherwise.

We support all efforts to reach new arms control agreements in Europe and to move towards nuclear disarmament across the continent.

We urge the entire anti-war movement to unite on the basis of challenging the British government’s aggressive posturing and direct its campaigning to that end above all.

Aw I like that. Statements but no action.

Do we just keep putting statements out when he invades a new country?

Putin getting the Ukraine does not make the threat to us greater than it already is. It's not making him stronger.
I answered the intervention question in my last post. When NATO decide it's time, then it's time.
