The West did bugger all over the annexation of Crimea.

Ukraine isn't NATO and isn't EU. Different rules apply.

The problem is.. The USSR he dreams of was a communist state, taking away his bank accounts is a bit like taking a BMW away from a farmer, he wasn't gonna do much with it anyways

I suspect that although it’s hammering the Russian economy, him and his oligarch mates will have their money stashed elsewhere so they’ll be sheltered from it.
 
Vlads final fuck off to the West, he’ll be off to play with his new friends in the East and wants to take Ukraine with him.

Best hope is the Russian people not having it. I don’t hold much hope but if the body bags start piling up..

This gives hope to North Korea and other crackpot leaders if Putin can do anything he wants so can we ... ....disgusting by America and us especially not to order immediate military action.....people are against the war in both countries I do get that ...the financial cost especially....but when innocent kids are being killed in Ukraine (which will happen)..I wonder if the world sits up looks at its TV screen and wonders what price can we put on a life
