You’re wrong here, the Russian people aren’t the enemy! It’s the putin government and his regime. Sanctioning all Russians will play into putin warped game

There aren’t many reports of fighting yet but if the Russian claims are true that they have destroyed most of the Ukrainian air defences and air forces plus command and control etc… then Ukraine aren’t going to be able to fight much of a rural war. They would be sitting ducks to Russian drones, warplanes and missiles without defence.

As was suggested yesterday they could retreat to the big cities and engage Russia in urban conflict where they are less exposed but that’s going to come with horrific civilian casualties

Depends on if anyone bothers to really stand up to them, Putin doesn’t care who condemns him and he clearly doesn’t care about his own people or sanctions as he’s ready to cripple their economy.

Concern about running the Russian oligarchs and wider economy into the ground is it might make Putin even more reckless. He’s got nowt to lose.

Just remember the Afghan debacle and now this are all under the corrupt Biden administration.

For years a misinformation campaign alleging Trump was colluding with Russia was waged by the Dems and their allies in big media which proved to be completely fake. Why are we not know considering Biden to be in collusion with Putin? Biden has paved the way for Putins move on Ukraine.

The Western media should use 'Putin' and not 'Russia' when reporting - Putin has attacked Ukraine

Putin has made himself supreme leader by every means possible - the Russian people are victims of him and his oligarchs too

We should not hold back when comparing him to Hitler as the similarities are impossible to ignore

This is a very, very dark day for Europe

The reality lots of Russian can’t stand him either!

Putin is adept at playing up to a narrative, saying it’s the world against Russia

the world should emphasise it’s not against Russia but against putin that should be the tone of the reporting

Hopefully we don't go after the general public in Russia as they have absolutely no say in what's happening. Get every country in Europe and hopefully the Middle East to agree to revoke all visas for prominent Russians, freeze Bank accounts and send them back to Russia. I'm sure they'll start kicking up a fuss if they have to spend summer is St Petersburg or Moscow and not in Cyprus or London with billions in frozen Bank accounts. Don't give them prior notice like what we have done with the current sanctions either, just instant freeze and revoke, I know it'll be harsh on some but I'd rather we punish the 1% over the 99% who have absolutely no say in what's happening.
