Russia has said they’re doing everyone a favour. The 2 breakaway regions wanted Russians help and have been asking for it since they officially broke away in 2014. Russia was patient and waited for the west to help the millions of people stuck in limbo so they finally decided to protect the people

I couldn't help but laugh when I read all the world's ambassadors to the UN are in a meeting on keeping the peace, but the current president is none other than the Russian ambassador. They've got this down to a tee like.

The Ukraine ambassador come across like he was pissed at the media. Started saying this meeting was a funeral for the UN.

Even Ukraine have admitted that Russia have always had military staged in that region already. Sounds like it’s been a complaint they’ve had against Russia for years and are finally being taken serious

This is yet another indication that politicians should not be allowed to receive any benefits or donations of any kind from anyone by the way. No adverts just speaking to your constituents if you want to be voted on

Can I ask something because I don’t understand. How is it a newly recognised country/state? Like is there not an official process to this because and im playing this down a lot here I know it seems like a group of me and my mates deciding we don’t want Sunderland to be In England and declaring it not to be. Sorry I know that’s a shit example

It's not, really, it's justification from Russia to be able to send troops in and say they're not invading another country.

The only reason these areas "broke away" from Ukraine in the first place was cos Russia supported the rebels that made that happen.

If you and your mates have a rebel army capable of holding off any attempts to take Sunderland back and the support of locals who don't flee you could go for it.
