Other than (i) Putin announcing that parts of Ukrainian sovereign territory are, in Russias view, not part of Ukraine; (ii) Putin detailing why he thinks Ukraine is not actually a real nation; and (iii) Putin announcing that Russian troops are being sent in to the aforementioned parts of Ukraines sovereign territory then yeah, you’re right, nothings happened.

I’ve just basically quoted to you three of the headline bullet points from the BBCs live news feed on the situation, following Putins speech - which are listed under a headline:

“Putin orders troops in to Eastern Ukraine”

You say nothing has happened today. And I’m the one in “dreamland”. Aye reetyo.
