Shutting down energy supplies is not going to happen, we only take 5% of our gas from Russia so we might be able to do it but some EU countries are reliant on them for over 50% of their gas supplie.

Johnson unprompted did mention Russian money in U.K. as something we would be addressing during his interview on bbc Sunday morning

But he can’t not declare war. They’ve just sectioned off a part of his country and claimed it as their own. That’s already an act of war, Ukraine has to respond

Obviously Putins got Xi as a mate, who like Putin thinks the US has no appetite for an aggressive foreign policy post Afghan, and who has his own expansion into the South China Sea in hand, but the US and EU aren’t dead yet. They still matter. I can’t help but think Putin’s rolled the dice wrong on this.

Russian troops further entering Ukraine. Absolutely tonnes of commentators, politicians & members of the public on here. I just think it’s a bit rich for somebody to call people idiots when that person thought this wouldn’t happen

I think the opposite. He’s got a lot in his favour.
The timing is actually pretty good for him. The map will look a lot different in 10 years

He should have waited till US democracy has finally collapsed, which I agree 10 years is not a bad estimate for that, give or take

Has the EU actually got a policy on this, can’t say I’ve seen anything coming out of Brussel, some individual countries have made their position clear but nowt out of Brussels

Couldn't agree more, the mans a massive liability and I do hope what he said wasn't Freudian because you can guarantee Putin will use it to his advantage.
