The date of the 22nd Feb has been banded around for a while. Not sure if it’s been doctored or is a fake but one of the Russian separatist leaders was also recorded in a speech last year saying that will be the date they regain their independence. Coincides with the end of Winter Olympics and Russian exercises

Putin has a major party meeting later today too. Part of me thinks it’s too obvious to be tomorrow now

It’s entirely aimed at the domestic market. Look at the “Brexit is awesome” shit that the British government pump out. It’s the same principle.

Seems quite obvious how this plays out.

Russia will recognise DPR and LPR as independent states later today, as Putin is on live TVs with his cabinet all calling for it.

They have already requested Russian assistance so as they are then recognised as independent he can roll his tanks in to support leaving Ukraine in an impossible position. Don’t defend their territory and they are weak and have rolled over, so defend it and they are in outright conflict with Russia. Which then given Putin an excuse to go further

It’s whether to recognise as independent but same thing as will see Russian tanks rolling in under the premise of defending the independence

This I think. Recognise as independent & then be "invited in". Russia will say it isn't an invasion as they don't see it as Ukrainian land, they were invited & in fact on that basis Ukraine are technically invaders as they were not invited.

Russia will go in & take on "an unwelcome Ukraine force that are firing on them after they were invited into an independent state".

Imagine we will supply Ukraine with Intel and defensive weapons. NATO wont get involved unless a fellow member is attacked.

Im not sure how accurate it is but the EU have been complaining that our threatened sanctions are a too powder puff and not a real deterrent. They have said we haven't threatened anything of note apart from "very tough Sanctions" and other unquantifiable soundbites but have not confirmed what they are. I know they have threatened the Golden Visa thing but that is hardly a deterrent to those already here and well and have been laundered.

The whole west need to be strong and united here, Russia and China will be watching and learning how we approach it.

His video from December warning of Russia launching a large scale war at 4am on Feb 22nd made rounds yesterday.
Threatening not warning. He was very excited about a world war.

Let's hope COVID sees him off then if that's his attitude. It's easy to advocate war when it will never affect him.
