They have clearly got the strongest squad in the division and probably even a stronger number of quality seam bowlers than us and I reckon ours is one of the best in the country. But it is Notts and they can blow hot or cold.
But both Notts AND Durham can be promoted-It's 2 up and 2 down.

As much as I'd like to see Alex Lees do well and cement his place in the England side, he'd be a big miss for Durham. Likewise Brydon Carse, who is probably some way from the test team but maybe sometime in the future.

uni game is down as 23rd march at durham racecourse
Durham's ODI featuring England against South Africa will be a day night game. The sides will meet in CLS on July 19th. Meanwhile Surrey will be the visitors when Durham stage their annual game at South Northumberland in the Royal London Cup. That will be on Thursday August 4th.

Only 2 home venues .1 in Yorkshire and the other at HQ . Playing at the Riverside won't bring in extra crowds . What's happened to the outgrounds like Ropery Lane, Feethams, Park Drive and Eastwood Gardens etc It appears the Second Eleven one day competition won't be running due to the Royal London Cup and the Haircut One Hundred Cup running parallel to each other . Short sightedness once again on the FCECB as this competition give teenagers the opportunity to break into the professional game20th June is the first "home " game in the SECC

Well that's what I call an underwhelming fixture list.
Lots of travelling for the players too. Southampton and Guildford just two weeks apart! They'll love that! They often have to make their own travel arrangements for these games but hope they’ll hire a coach for those two.
