It won't make a difference as it'll still be a shite atmosphere unless we take the lead early on and look comfortable. People are too nervous to create an atmosphere
Played well first half v Pompey but yes the rest was direNowt to do with how shite we played in both games? People follow England and get pissed for 2 full days beforehand and still manage to make a decent atmosphere in the ground so I don’t buy this hungover excuse one jot.
I bet no other team around the play offs has a thread like this, championship, league 1, league 2, pure arrogance
It’s fking bizarre, mind!I bet no other team around the play offs has a thread like this, championship, league 1, league 2, pure arrogance
Need to pack in Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden and put all effort into supporting the team at the game imo. Out sung by both Pompey and CHARLTON at both games at Wembley
And the atmosphere was good 1st half.Played well first half v Pompey but yes the rest was dire
I get what you're saying but a large part of support is getting behind them when the backs are against the wall. Whether it's down to booze or anything else is up for debate but I don't think we gave enough of an account of ourselves in either gameAnd the atmosphere was good 1st half.
Aye the sad provincial football fan in the big city routine isn’t doing anyone any favours. Thankfully no one I know would be seen dead anywhere near Trafalgar Sq on Saturday night so they’ve nivver mentioned it. Or maybe they’re just being kind.Need to pack in Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden and put all effort into supporting the team at the game imo. Out sung by both Pompey and CHARLTON at both games at Wembley
Whoever is on top in a game is going to have a louder backing in 99% of football matches. Pompey were on top for 75% of the game including extra time. If it was the other way round we would of been louder than the pompey fans imo.I get what you're saying but a large part of support is getting behind them when the backs are against the wall. Day trip , car . Least expense they've had me too many timesIs it TF or CG?
Train or car?
Oyster card?
What's in the bait for the train?
Full weekend or day trip?
Shut up Charlie and look at the overall picture.Need to pack in Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden and put all effort into supporting the team at the game imo. Out sung by both Pompey and CHARLTON at both games at Wembley
IF we make it there then it'll be LOL central watching all the lads who've vowed never to come back managing to square it with themselves that they deserve their big day out again.
We played part of the game v Pompey without a striker on the pitch. Genius.Whoever is on top in a game is going to have a louder backing in 99% of football matches. There's always one or two who take this sort of thing personally. We could have a reasoned debate but you're hardly covering yourself in glory calling me Charlie and soft ladShut up Charlie and look at the overall picture.
In relation to the shit we constantly endure our support is absolutely amazing.
You enjoy your early night soft lad.
Lad sat next to me kept having a go at us for trying to chant and hold our scarfs up and that at the pompey game.Need to pack in Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden and put all effort into supporting the team at the game imo. Out sung by both Pompey and CHARLTON at both games at Wembley
