I get what you're saying but a large part of support is getting behind them when the backs are against the wall. Whether it's down to booze or anything else is up for debate but I don't think we gave enough of an account of ourselves in either game

Aye the sad provincial football fan in the big city routine isn’t doing anyone any favours. Thankfully no one I know would be seen dead anywhere near Trafalgar Sq on Saturday night so they’ve nivver mentioned it. Or maybe they’re just being kind.

Whoever is on top in a game is going to have a louder backing in 99% of football matches. Pompey were on top for 75% of the game including extra time. If it was the other way round we would of been louder than the pompey fans imo.

If the national stadium was in Whitley Bay or Sheffield I'd not be planning this far in advance. It's less to do with arrogance and more to do with logistics. It's far easier to plan and cancel than to be pay double for a worse hotel after the semi.
