…a huge Abu Dhabi based investment company.

Surely with the contacts KLD has he should be making representations to get them interested?

Marwood seems like he has some kind of indirect input, I can’t believe we can’t make a bloody good case to get some proper wealthy backers, especially given what’s gone on up the road.

One of the things that appealed about KLD was the idea that he’s linked to some serious wealth. Yet here we are with the 3 chancers and f***ing Billy Storey back on the scene.

We’re Sunderland AFC, being kicked around by potless pound shoppers, whole thing is surreal.

Agreed. Hopefully he can get Adu Dhabi interested, the fans reaction if they bought out the chuckle brothers.

Sadly, lower division clubs attract chancers. We need to be seriously challenging in the Championship to be a decent bet for proper money people and that looks a good way off.
Well……that’s not set in stone. We just need someone to see the potential and have ambition. Look at us. We’re the one, true, sleeping giant.

Time to wake up.

Agree, we’re the very definition of a distressed asset though. The potential ROI is enormous for some investors with just a bit of vision.

Simplistic I know, but look at how Leicester and Southampton jumped back from league 1 in a short space of time, it’s not impossible for a club of our size.

The big money men don't tend to take punts, sadly. We have all of the potential in the world but, at present we're a lot worse proposition than Boro or someone

Is it a huge investment company tho?.....it might be in the 3rd tier when it comes to Abu Dhabi investment companies.

SAFC is all about potential, and we are still the biggest club fan base wise, outside of the prem.

KLD should buy the shares out from those parasites and get his contacts on board , if he has any ambition of progression and to realise the potential.

Those two claim their shares have been up for sale since day one of KLD coming in, so effectively they are now hanging KLD out to dry for not buying them out .This must be Dreyfuss next move or sadly he will be toast .

I'm sure he tried to buy the club in the first place, if that's what he wanted to do.

He also may have just thrown a bit of money in, in to get a lump some back, just like the 3 amigos have always planned. Thing is, the lack of a promotion is upsetting their plans to sell the club.

After yesterday's announcement, I'm a lot less sure that KLD has the best intentions for the club, rather than just trying to make a quick profit like his chums.

Bit of a vicious circle there then, as under the current circus freaks we are unlikely to see the investment or intelligent infrastructure put in place to make the top end of the Championship a likely scenario...
