They've misled by not being open about the nature of the controlling interest, and the wording around it. I reached the conclusion pretty much anyone would make. I really didn't see this arrangement at all.
Don't blame you. They deliberately chose those words in an effort to mislead knowing the conclusions that people would tend make.

Apologies, haven't read the full thread, but what does KLD gain from investing in a structure that let's him be outvoted by 3 relative plebs wealth wise?

Or Is he just a front like Sartori? Combined investment of 2 quid no doubt

And this is what I’ve heard (good source)

KLD wants more of the club but will not invest to “make the others rich”.

Also heard that LJ was promised the new pitch, as he liked to play fast passing football and the promise was not kept. Hence the state of the pitch and part of the reason he couldn’t get the team to play.

didnt speakman ask for the pitch money to be spent on something else?

It's unclear. He's a high powered sports contract lawyer thought to have acted for Madrox in the purchase from Short. It would be normal for a large minority shareholder to have someone on the board.
Right, so really, it depends on which side of the fence Sartori decided he wants to be on. He did bring KLD on board didn't he?

Rumoured we've spent 1.5 million on Cirkin and Matete. Is that right ? If so that's not insignificant for this division. Just trying to be fair to em. Not saying spend won't have been restricted by Donald but for this league we've spent a bit i think.

Anybody serious would have just blasted us out of this league with pure spending power by now. Similar to how Salford bought their way up the pyramid and Macclesfield are doing now. Instead most of our transfers seem to be frees and loans. The spin is that we're being clever, using "the data" to find hidden gems etc but I'm not so sure. I don't buy the "financial fair play" excuse either - anybody with serious intent to invest would find a way around that or just simply tell the EFL to fuck off and take the fines.
