Confirmed KLD only owns 41%

As a lower league stalwart and outside observer, the bigger question for me is who owns the stadium and how much does it cost to rent and run?

I recall years ago Bradford had a situation where they didn’t own the ground and it cost them £1million a season before a ball was kicked. That’s why they struggled in L2 and still do.

It’s why Oldham fans are trying to buy their stadium. Same as Plymouth.

These big stadiums can be a financial millstone in L1 and L2.

The stadium is owned by Sunderland.

A disgrace. We are being made mugs of. What will it take for the fan base to protest? Some would clap us on our way to the conference.

- Since the Will Grigg fiasco we've spent next to nothing on transfer fees
- The stadium deteriorates year after year (see the knackered speakers and shite pitch), obviously spending nowt on it unless absolutely necessary
- Staff have been stripped back as much as possible to the extent that people can't even pay on the gate any more. Is the club shop even open?
- Seems like we have about two people managing marketing, the website and all our social media
- Couldn't get Keane over the line as certain "minority" shareholders obviously wouldn't stump up for him despite KLD making it pretty clear he was first choice

Even without this news it was obvious really that the clowns are still in control. The club is basically being run into the ground - you can guarantee that if we don't go up this season, Neil and Stewart will be off and those transfer fees will be pocketed by the clowns.
Bang on

Sunderland - KLD, Treuer, Levin
SAFC - KLD, Treuer, Levin, MLD, Davison, Sartori, Vumbaca, Jones.

All directors have votes at board meetings.
So even if Sartori was all loyal to Donald/Methven/Madrox which i don't think he is, there is as KLD said a governance majority. Just not a shareholder one -which needs addressing like because it could restrict what we invest. Am i right in saying all this? I get boards and investor percentages just not au fait with shares.

They aren't on the board, so don't have a vote. Only Sartori.
I fully accept the reasons why people feel mislead. However, if Madrox are “running the show” does that mean all the good things in the season so far are down to them too? Or is it only since we’ve collapsed?

They are mates SD and JS and I said this last week, they brought KLD in as a smokescreen. All part of a plan, imagine if we had of gone up automatically we wouldn’t have a budget for the championship. We’d be hunting down frees using the loan market and taking chances on young players hoping to make a quick buck.

Does he? Surely if SD, JS and CM all vote against KLD for something surely they’ll have the say? I may be wrong like.
You have to understand the difference between voting stock and ownership stock. Just because you own most of something does not mean you control it.
