Total sport ( tonight ) should be interesting …………but probably won’t be .

So the melts have 59% of the club. I see a few trying to dismiss the significance of this but sadly that's not true because a) a huge amount of lies have been told b) epic failures still have a significant amount of control c) opinion has been manipulated to draw in crowds & money and d) a football club is bot all like any other enterprise, it's not a cow to be shamelessly milked, it's a major part of the community.

I'd say they have 100%.

This is really not aimed at you, but I'm fairly amazed that people still seem to be thinking of Louis-Dreyfus as some kind of frustrated good guy.

He's as much part of the problem here as anyone - a rich, young, useful idiot who has acted as a front for his fellow chancers. Hidden the truth, done nothing for the club, broken his promises, and thinks owning a football club is about liking Instagram posts about players who retired when he was 6.

What's you view on why they have come clean now, KLD advisors telling him to risk greater reputational damage to himself and the family name when the facts finally emerge which they of course would have eventually.?

That wording about Governance Majority told me all I needed to know, I had already been told by a number of reliable sources about the 41%. Been shot down on here along with others on here for raising this, glad to see the truth is out,
Governance majority is definitely snake oil talk no doubt at all, but there is reassurance if it means he has the governance majority on his side on the board where key decisions are made. It still means that there isn’t a free reign though. It’s not all his strategy, just mostly.
Going forward we need rid of the spiv shares. That’s something we all agree on. But let’s see what is said tomorrow on the detail. They simply have to explain some detail now or then there really will be hell on.

They really had no choice. They can now refocus the meeting tomorrow on explaining the implications. They've clearly misunderstood the toxicity around SD and CM, CM in particular, and they need to lance that particular boil sooner rather than later.

Not really sure why but I feel really gutted about this. I am probably less bothered about the actual splits than a lot of people and it could be that they aren't influencing the way the club is run but they have lied/misled again the latest in a long line and I really can't see the benefit of it other than they hold is complete contempt.
Why come in and talk about openness and transparency while doing the exact opposite what purpose does it serve?
How are we going to be able to believe a word they say about anything going forward? The whole thing is a complete mess.

KLD’s letter to supporters contains two key things:

1. Donald and Methven are not on the Board and do not have involvement in decision making.

2. All shareholders are meeting financial obligations and are putting in “shareholder funding” to cover losses from Covid.

No chance.

They'll have to work through Matthew Raisbeck speaking at 3 words per minute about their referee on Saturday, and the complete analysuis of other matches he has refereed, for 20 minutes.

Then Barnes will be on to talk about being offered cups of tea at Wimbledon or Gary Bennett's MBE or something.

Then some mag callers will take it up to the 7pm news, while Anderson says 'that's an interesting one'.

They probably don't even know this news yet tbh.

There's no reason why they should have misunderstood the toxicity mind, kld knew about it well before he bought the club
