Latest boxing crack

I know I will get dogs abuse for this but.....are people really happy to ppv for two well past it boxers
just because they are British and were very good in their prime?
If it was on free to air I might have thought about watching but ppv- no chance, especially
as the undercard is very poor.

If you mean the fight, sky PPV
Just watched that Brook is shot and if I was his manager would have him with a psychiatrist, looks like Oliver Mcall potential. As long as Khan doesn't get hit with a hail Mary its in the bag....****queue first round knockout of Khan. Genuinely though Brook sounds punch drunk and looks close to tears at times. BTW I'm impartial to both boxers so not a Khan fan boy

Brook right off the bat sounds really upset that the fight took so long to happen. And my immediate feeling is that the unsaid part of that is "now I'm old and knackered and have no chance".

"why didn't we fight at the time", he just said. At the time. That's exactly the same as what I just said above.

Kahn: "well done" .
Brook: /silence

Kell complaining about the weight now. Probably fair really if he's had to drag himself down so much.
But he seems like he feels the world is against him here, which overall isn't helpful.

I would have fancied the Kell that beat Porter to smash Khan to bits. Now, I think its Khan's to lose, providing he boxes smart. The fact that kell has to drag himself down to 149lbs in absolutely mental. Its obviously his final fight and he won't want to go out on a loss though, especially to Khan.

Khan quit against crawford literally knew what was coming and wanted out.
Astute imo.
He knew the tide had turned and he was going to really struggle the next few rounds. And he was probably quite hurt from the nutshot.
So why not protect himself and stay down?

Not great if you paid to see it, but as a Kahn fan, I can't really blame him for not wanting to walk back into a fight he was losing, with his knackers hurting.

Fair point when you put it like that i just wanted to see him get a hiding that's all haha.

Brook come out with some weird stuff during the gloves off thing. Probably worth noting he will be knee deep in to a pretty savage weight cut, which for anyone who has had the displeasure - you'll be a bit grumpy

Not even convinced it was a nut shot

It does seem like Khan has the advantage here. I'd have favoured Brook in 2015/16 before GGG.

This. Brook was always the better fighter imo. GGG did more than beat Brook however, took his soul and still has boxed up on his mantlepiece

Look at Billy Joe Saunders, called himself P4P best and hasn't been seen since with a similar injury.

Likewise with Brook, he knows his punch resistance is all gone
