WMS Who Owns Sunderland AFC?

I’m not sure what that Labour activists comment has to do with any of this like. A bizarre thing to say!
Actually he’s not wrong, on the Second part, I am not sure about the first part, but it’s been clear to me for some years since I joined this forum back in 2011 that, some posters have or have had experience like I have working for the football club, I was just a catering assistant and match day Stewart, but I do sense others over the years have worked higher up, and do whatever it takes to delver good PR, or repeat the “message etc “.

Is he suggesting there is a link between Labour activists and club stooges though?!

I’d say I’m as Labour as they come but that certainly doesn’t have any impact on my views of SAFC!

I've thought this all along to be honest.

They were provided the question by RAWA in advance of the meeting yet no mention of it.

It wasn't until the next day, after RAWA refused to let them try and blag their way out of it, that they suddenly remembered they have one.
There's every chance there isn't one tbh. It's an easy thing to hide behind if the real answer is "you wouldn't like the split so we're not going to tell you". If the club isn't well ran I'd be very supportive of a form of protest which might make them rethink. Not one that would affect the lads on a matchday though, that would be very unpopular when there's a promotion to try and win.

Maybe those stooges also vote labour, he doesn’t, which is why I wasn’t sure about the first part, but certainly the second.

Maybe they do, there’s a good chance. I just think it’s a weird link for the poster to have made (particularly given the fact that we’re undoubtedly run by people with Tory values and certainly were under Donald and Methven!)

Yeah, that’s the board not the management staff in the office and those within black cats house, they are pretty much anonymous people and we hadn’t a clue of there political or supporting views

You’re not wrong there. It’s almost as if it’s a message board for a majority Labour populated city

Find it funny how our fans are the first to kick up a fuss about them up their road and their owners yet don’t even stop to think who owns our club. Madness.
I care even less about who owns Newcastle.

They've lost a lot of good faith in the way they've handled the last few weeks. Even Marco and Barnes have turned and they are usually the first to blame anything on fans.

If it turns out they've lied/misled over share percentages(which the local media is eventually now putting pressure on being disclosed) then KLD's time here has been built on bullshit in exactly the same way Donald's and Methven's was.

I'm interested to know why LJ was sacked as well tbh because it's becoming increasingly obvious it wasn't to do with results.

Maybe the Covid thing, it’s what I was thinking when he got the push, after I calmed down after the 6-0 humping.

I certainly hope kld takes stock of things at the end of the season. I'd like some honesty around who owns what. If we don't go up (and even if we do tbh) he needs to seriously look at speakman given we've been left short in key areas and theres been the manager hunt that might end up costing us (obviously he'll know how much speakman is to blame for things that have gone on). But equally there hasn't been the investment off the pitch that I think most expected, we still seem really understaffed, I thought the pitch was meant to be getting sorted pre season but it was worse than ever this season. There aren't a string of people looking to buy league one sides so I really hope there is a bit of patience with kld, but things need to improve across the board because at the minute, other than having a bit of a structure in place, it's hard to say we look much better than we did before he came in

Can't see it being the covid thing as he would have gone before Bolton if that was case and he didn't say anything wrong?

What he said was twisted and sensationalised by a journalist who later changed what he wrote after people had already read it.

Well it depends on what your personal views are when it comes to The Covid thing, if it was incorrect or not, the only thing thing is the rumour about Defoe signing which states Johnson didn t want him the club did, so he got the push.

I think KLD has had more patience than he has deserved up until this point tbh. Ticket office/shop etc is a bit of a shambles. Pitch is a mess (albeit seems to be getting something done with it now) after saying it was getting sorted in the summer. Tannoy is getting worse by the week (last week it stated randomly making this loud as fuck horn noise for no reason while the game was being played 😂). No academy manager for months. Manager appointment clusterfuck. Haphazard transfer business. Methven interviewing manager candidates.

If KLD wasn't here and we were doing this under Donald people would be going apeshit.

Personal views in what way?

Speakman has been on record saying manager has final say on transfers so it doesn't make sense to sack him for wanting a final say on transfers (it was clear Johnson didn't want him though).

Has it been the covid, or the Defoe thing then his assistant didn't have to immediately leave either ans could have been interim whilst we replaced. He will know the first team better than Dodds. Was just bizarre.

Maybe you have hit upon the answer, KLD has good PR banked, the other hasn’t got nothing but bullshit on his side.
