Have been watching the tele to calm down ,did i read that right that PNE have to pay him till june.Does that mean these horrible lot running our club arent paying him.

What's gone is gone.
Welcome Alex Neil.
You're coming into a club where there is a huge bed rock of passionate fans who have suffered so much over decades and have had endured some incredibly poor moments .
You inherit a very uneven squad.
Some really good players but some of them exhausted, some totally disorientated.
Few would envy you but as a managerial test this is up there.
Hope you do well.

So when you say "We have scoured the world and this has what we have come up with.", what you actually mean is 'I'd have went with Neil too.'?

Pritchard, Roberts, Defoe, Dajaku, Hoffman, Doyle, Cirkin, (Promoting) Neil, Broadhead, Cirkin, Stewart, Winchester. Who are the one or two exceptions, and who (which I'm presuming are the rest) have been abysmal?
KLD shouldnt not have said interest around the world before ending up with a bloke, with all due respect, was sacked by Preston in his last job.

Pritchard ok in patches.

Roberts - how many minutes?

Defoe - class but Speakmen's mate nearly fked that deal up.

Dajaku - see Pritchard.

Hoffman - back in Germany.

Doyle - flogged the lad because of their incompetenace and isnt ours.

Cirkin - any better than Hume?

Broadhead injury prone and not ours.

Stewart - very good signing.

Winchester - see Pritchard

We are in danger of not making the play offs man lets not kid ourselves - how many times have these players been hammered this season ffs? Wigan didnt even have 11 players last summer. The recruitment and management have been a disaster this season whatever way you look at it.

The blame has to be placed squarly at Speakmen and Johnson. Johnson has gone and Speakman needs to follow.

We are a laughing stock.

Personally I reckon the youngsters have run out of steam, tried to argue earlier in season that this was a possibility but just ended up getting flack on here
I agree to an extent but I don't think players like Cirkin and Embleton will ever make it as players you can rely on. It is up to Neil to get them going again but I think he is going to be disappointed, particularly with the defensive side of the squad.

Have you been watching the same games as me? The squad is in a terrible state bar four or five players that might offer something on a good day.
Spot on ,i asked the question earlier, how many of this squad could play in the champo, nobody answered. Also bearing in mind that loads are out of contract and loans returned to their clubs. Can anybody really see these shits in the boardroom shelling out for Championship fees and wages,to fill the squad.

Run out of steam? They just aren’t good enough if the truth be told.

I second this.

Get a few early results and restore some pride in our club.

I've only heard good things so far from Norwich and Preston people.

Watched a few long interviews and he certainly is by far the least dour sounding scot we've had in modern times (compared to Moyes and Ross), very chipper and pragmatic.

Get us out of this division please - we'll all respect you a hell of a lot if you can.

The best player we bought in early on in the season was Broadhead but he's a crock. Pritchard has quality but can be marked out of games. Neil has looked bad since the Villa interest. Stewart is good for League 1. Reserving judgment on the Jan signings. It's a weak squad, particularly if we have aspirations of the Championship.

Difficult for pampered teenagers to adjust to league 1 week in week out mind, even if they are good enough they will need taken out of the firing line occasionally. Unfortunately because of the haphazard way our squad has been assembled, we don’t have enough quality cover and aren’t able to do this.
