I’d also add this is a very brave move for him as we are a complete basket case of a club, owners with everything to prove and higher profile, more experienced manager’s have been chewed up and spat out here in recent times.

In fact there were quite a few. I’ve been an advocate of getting Neil for a while, so when others mentioned his name I took notice, hence why I know there’s been quite a few. Just because you’re not keen doesn’t mean others aren’t.

Still pissed off over the whole Keane saga but will say out of anyone else linked I would have had a gamble on Neil. Deffo has something about him and gets sides doing the right things and grafting hard. FWIW I think it's a good job to get him to drop to L1, hope he gets us up this year.

I don’t think his record in Scotland is particularly relevant; no. He’s done nowt after his first six months in England.

Reet then “new member” I’ll play. Turning up where? They turn up for home games from the AOL in a coach. For away games in L1 with a L1 budget overnight stays in hotels are kept to a minimum.

If you disagree with my comment, please let me know what he has done since his first six months in England. Relegated, sacked and sacked again?
