It's because if the last 5 years this appointment is being seen like this.
This Club is an absolute shambles from top to bottom.
We needed a name, a lift, someone to change the ethos throughout...sadly Alex Neil won't be that man

Keane, clearly. If you check every new manager thread ever on this forum it follows the same pattern. Everyone is horrified at the quite clearly dire appointment (Grayson, Parkinson, Johnson etc) before then convincing themselves they are going to be fantastic. They’re always shite as these people are nobodies, what has Alex Neil ever achieved in football? A lower league Scottish plodder who’s career highlight was playing for Hamilton Academical.

Compare that to one of the best midfielders of his generation who dragged this club from the bottom of the championship. This is just so tinpot and typical of this ownership.

I think its an excellent appointment. Hes a proper manager who's always got a reaction from a team . And he's apparently of good charachter .. I would of loved Keane to come back and it be fairytales.... but he's been out of management for a long time he probably doesn't command the same respect from players as he once did some of these won't of seen him play live

Why? We will always be down in league 1 if this is the attitude. “Let’s just accept it and support him”, how about we do something about it and drive the owners out and not accept being a league 1 also-ran?
