Just had a quick look on Wikipedia, done well at Hamilton and Norwich, which does indicate and improvement on LJ.
My worry is the mediocrity with Preston. I don’t know enough about his time there to judge. Have any of there fans posted there opinions, or does anyone know why it was hard for him there.
Must admit I’m starting to see at least a bit of optimism in this appointment, much as I wanted Keane.

18 month contract doesn't mean he's cheaper to get shot of. They could write it into the contract he gets X amount of payoff on termination, doesn't have to be the full amount for the whole term.
Probably more likely that's how long you get and if we don't go up you're out. You'd think they could put a get promoted and there's an automatic two, three year extension clause in there.
