Read a norwich journo saying his talent was concise and simple messages to the players. So the total opposite in that sense.
Good to know. I personally think he’s a good fit. Did similar with Norwich as Keane did here. Did better at Preston than Keane did at Ipswich. Plays high press football the club wants. Doesn’t come with the diva exit risk of Keane. Other than a boost Keane would’ve brought, he probably edges it anyway.

Work with a North end fan and he wanted him out long before he was sacked...clueless substations hm ring any bells, no plan b if other team was winning hm ring any bells..let's see if the bedwetters think so

Every manager who ever gets sacked (which is the vast majority, even the good ones) get those things slung at them man. Also ‘tactically naive’ is a popular one.

Makes the appointment even worse in my view giving him longer .....but like I said previously if I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up .....

I don't rate him but he is not odious like some of the other options were. However, I hope that fans understand that we can't expect anything from our current squad. Give him time to have a proper go next season with new players, by which time hopefully Speakman is out of the equation. The problems are higher up than the manager - the last few weeks how shown this.

Phew. As I say unlike many I am really chuffed with Neil. I was happy with Ross but very disappointed with Parko and Johnson. Neil will be a good appointment (albeit a week late) but a 3 month deal would take the gloss off it. Thanks for the update.
Wouldn’t say I’m really chuffed but I’m happy with it. If we made it a lot sooner it would have been very acceptable.

Certainly a better candidate than McCann or Lennon.
