LEGO builds for Adults

The tumbler has arrived and building has commenced, sort of, I’ve realised I’m woefully short of places to store ongoing unassembled pieces so I’ve ordered a tool box especially for the job.

I did start the build last night, kept getting wrong for making 2 much noise, it’s plastic FFS so not much I can do about that! I’m around 2 hours in and precious little to show for it, I’m going to really get cracking Saturday so if progress is more acceptable I’ll upload a picture then!

I'm still fishing for the '89 Batmobile.

Fuckin' annoying when ya know Lego were floggin' it for £220 just a few months ago. £300+ on ebay.

I am a member of the FB group LEGO Buy / Sell / Trade UK - I often pick up retired sets at reasonable prices on it.

I tell you what I dont want, what I really dont want

I’ve still got the full cowboy Western collection from the early 1990s with the fort, the sheriffs lock up, bad guys lair and the bank/general store. Will be worth a canny bit but it’s mine.

Would like the blue Mustang though - looks class

Took me a couple of days superb build though. Much better than my Star Wars A-Wing that actually had repeat instructions for thing with sequential numbers AND a part that is actually completely impossible to fit by the laws of physics

My son got the Star Wars Cantina for Christmas. Inspired by falling back in love with all things Star Wars by the Book of Boba Fett, He started it last weekend (I am a weekend dad) and he finished it after school yesterday. I am a tad jealous as it looks awesome.

Sorry to plug another FB group but Brick Bargains UK (LEGO Bargains UK) post links to the best daily Lego deals they can find on the net. I have saved a lot of money thanks to them and also sources some sets that other places may be out of stock.

Well thanks to that I've just ended up ordering an X Wing and Tie Fighter from JD Williams for a combined £60.
