I wonder if he was at Cheltenham on Tuesday, slept on it & thought, nah, this squad is beyond redemption this season and I can't work with these owners & number crunchers without lamping them? I'll stick with dog walking, thanks.

It'll be because of length of contract and speakman buying the players.
 
Reet, just to add a bit of balance to this & I'm as frustrated as anyone nowt’s happened yet, but….

Do we really think Keane is banging on the door saying “let me sign, let me sign” & we’re saying “nah, hold on before we’ve had a chat with Neil Lennon”. I really really want Keane, but maybe, just maybe we aren’t being the arseholes with negotiations & its Keane driving a hard bargain. Again, there’s only one man I want, Keane, but we’ve got a structure set up to try & run the club right & avoid us being fucked up the arse continuously from players, agents, clubs, chairman etc. There’s bound to be two sides to this, but we only want see one thing, the scarf pic. There’s more to it.
 
Hindsight is wonderful if this is true, we should have stuck with LJ until the end of the season if we didn’t have some guaranteed to take over. What a fuckin shit show.
 
If it isn’t Keane, it isn’t Keane. Maybe the timing isn’t right.

At some point he will return as manager, mark my words.

And if it all was effectively done last night, will mean we’re now starting all over again with managers we’ve likely turned down. f***ing love to see it:lol::lol:
