What an amateurish set up

Wasn’t Speakman meant to represent the absolute opposite of this from a regime perspective?

It really does go beyond belief, they they have let is go so long with only that terribly I’ll-judged interview by Speakman.

“Massive delay”, still not taken as long as Everton did in appointing Lampard
They sacked him immediately before an international break and took 11 days to appoint Lampard. Ferguson had already managed the first team previously and already had experience with the squad.

We sacked our manager 24 hours before the transfer deadline, didn’t start looking for a new one until last Tuesday and have so far allowed 2 coaches who train the kids to “lead” the team for two vital games - probably 3 with this weekend.

It isn’t even comparable.

The perceived lack of urgency on this from the club is unfathomable...🤔.... hopefully it wall all come out in the wash but whilst the information vacuum still exists then all the rumours, whether true or not, will surface and gain momentum to fill the void.

They had a competent pair of hands in Ferguson in the interim

Aye, there’s this as well. A proper club man with excellent experience of the level of football he was operating at.

If there’s no appointment today that means that tomorrow won’t be taken my a new manager. That means, at best, they’d have one day with the players.

If it’s not sorted in good time for Saturday’s fixture then it’s beyond the joke it already is. If I was the coaches in charge I’d refuse to oversee another one and make Speakman do it.

No you’re right but they are trying to avoid relegation aren’t they
Yeah true, although they will stay up by default this year, just because theres 3 worse teams.

Saying that many thought we would beat doncaster and cheltnum just on merit, and look how that ended 🤣
