Was hoping it was a new manager.
Could be our hopes of promotion.

Do newcastle train at sports direct on Northumberland Street like? Is that where the club management is based?Like they did outside that Sports Direct shop?

It doesn’t in the premier league. It would in this league IMO. It’s not like the players carry all the power down here

Totally think that's what it is. Situation gets so desperate the longer it goes on so that folk just want any manager in charge by then. They can just appoint who they want.At this point a "safe pair of hands" in someone like Alex Neil would not go amiss. Maybe thats the plan, drag it out just a bit longer to reset expectations.
@rubberface usually spot on tbfRubberface has stated on numerous occasions the deal is done and Keane is our manager and will be holding a scarf up soon.
He sounds positive and a good itk.
Hopefully he’s right
The massive delay is probably because they know the fans want Keane, but for whatever reason they can't deliver that now, and they're panicking like fuck and don't know what to do.
“Massive delay”, still not taken as long as Everton did in appointing Lampard
They didn't want to do it as they knew they would be well out of their depth but they weren't given an option from what I've heard.... thrust unwillingly into the spotlight to take the flak whilst those responsible rearrange the deckchairs on the Titanic. For all the pelters we have been giving at Dodds and Proctor in our moments of fury, on reflection I feel bad having calmed down a bit and having taken stock of the last 4 or 5 days. Those two who have been pushed into a place they didn't want, actually feel sorry for the blokes as they are hopelessly out of their depth and it can't be nice being hauled in front of a camera to explain.
The ****houses above hiding away at the same time.
