It’s absolutely screaming out for Roy Keane now, it’s utterly mental they are considering anything else. Give him the longer contract because the clubs standards have slipped so low this is becoming the norm!

If they hire mccann I think it’ll be a f***ing riot. I’d rather Alex Neil or stick to their “plan” and go for manning or rob edwards.

Christ after that I’m even thinking warnock till the end of the season would be a good idea just kick the bastards all over

We’ve already decided we won’t be back this season or next tbh. No f***ing point. We enjoyed ourselves loads more in lockdowns without this shit every fortnight.
 
He will finally be announced tomorrow is what I've heard.

Get us on a winning run going into the play-offs and you never know, season isn't dead yet despite how shite we feel now.
 
If it's not Keane, I'm not renewing my season card. Players need a f***ing rocket up them and no manager other than Keane will give them it.

Whoever it is (and I hope to god it's Keane) will want at least 18 months. Partly because this season now looks very much done and dusted and partly because it's a pay-off if they leave/are sacked come the summer. Any manager with an ounce of self respect is going to want a minimum of 18 months.

Regardless, anyone taking on the job should be subject to deep psychological analysis.
