What guarantees that exactly? We all thought we’d be out of this division first time asking look where we are now… signing all these young’uns hoping it was gonna work has just totally backfired, we needed youth and experience in all departments on the field. We don’t have that and have relied on young lads to get us out this division.Give him next season to 100% get us promoted !
That’s a fair post, unfortunately.Personally, after the Donald debacle, I've tried really hard not to get drawn in by Dreyfuss, and tried to judge him on actions and results.
So far, I've seen
- season cards go up (against the price freeze promise)
- at least one, and probably two, more failures to get out of League One
- a failure to do anything about the pitch, despite the press coverage about getting a state of the art pitch last year
- an absolutely shambolic off field operation, where it's impossible to get strips, the club shops are closed at peak times like pre-season and Christmas, and you can't get into the ground using cash
- no investment in the infrastructure of the stadium (unbelievably, the PA system is getting worse)
- a refusal to tell the fans who owns the club
- waiting far too long to sack Lee Johnson, who should have been gone the morning after the Lincoln game
- what looks increasingly like a ballsed up managerial appointment
I'm not sure what the list of achievements is meant to be, or why, after a year of more underperformance, we shouldn't be questioning him?
I’m not saying we shouldn’t push for it but Keane isn’t to blame if he doesn’t get us promoted. It’s a squad that isn’t his and he can hardly stamp his authority on it 2/3 the way through the season. Next season however…..I think Keane would be on a hiding to nowhere.
15 games to get sorted. A very tricky job.
He could easily take a while to sort things and drop out of the play offs.
What then?
Nar.Will somebody please come and get me from Whitburn?
Well there's a shock. The more I think about it, the more I don;t think Keane is a fit right now.
I doubt he would work with a DOF/the current structure. I also don't want the club to abandon that set up for the whim of an angry Irish man who hasn't managed for almost a decade.
That’s a good post actually, and worryingly.Personally, after the Donald debacle, I've tried really hard not to get drawn in by Dreyfuss, and tried to judge him on actions and results.

Still bugs me you can't just pay cash to go in.Personally, after the Donald debacle, I've tried really hard not to get drawn in by Dreyfuss, and tried to judge him on actions and results.

Fixed at HT on Saturday. Miracle workerunbelievably, the PA system is getting worse)
It's absolutely baffling, the club haven't got any home shirts in small or medium, and you'd think signing one of the biggest players to play for us again they'd order more ahead anyway and the pitch is absolutely awfulPersonally, after the Donald debacle, I've tried really hard not to get drawn in by Dreyfuss, and tried to judge him on actions and results.

If you took all that together and distilled it. You get a club that is lacking in transparency and verging on the dishonest.Personally, after the Donald debacle, I've tried really hard not to get drawn in by Dreyfuss, and tried to judge him on actions and results.
