By the time we make an appointment we’ll have dropped 6 points to Doncaster & Cheltenham, putting even the play offs at risk.

This isn’t based on anything other than what we seen with Poyet before Johnson was appointed BUT before last week I couldn’t have see us paying what Keane would demand in salary or working under a DOF.

Think this speculation is actually be driven by Keane’s side in putting his name out there (possibly to see if any championship clubs express an interest) and this has backed the club in to a corner.

Should have known not to get my hopes up, same as before the weekend! We’re going to end up with another dull, uninspiring manager… rinse and bastard repeat!
Sorry mate, my question was what facts do we have, we haven't lost tomorrow yet, and all the rest wasn't facts either.

Totally I said exactly the same thing he will tell them to go fuck themselves and they obv don’t want him enough ,he’s already mentioned the club has got to want you on the tv then they are interviewing other people
Thats why I think its going to be OK.
He may have mellowed over the last few years, but if he felt we were mucking him around, he would have told us to fuck off by now.
🤞

Going to Cheltenham tomorrow and do I feel like it? Not one bit. This whole farce is just deflating.
Once you get into the pubs, with all the other Sunderland supporters, you'll feel different. Dodds isn't the club, nor anyone else, it's our club and I'll sing my heart out. We always manage to get there, drag ourselves up and support our club.

If you can't have pride in the current set up at least have pride in your support, ha'way the Lads.

Hi, said I wouldn’t make any other comment from my last quote, however I like Rubberface have been consistent that Roy Keane will be appointed our new Manager/Coach, which still remains the case.

Bookmakers have I believe now suspended betting.
Any update since this post @Steve F

rumour going round Keane has said no (over length of deal)

so its mow mccann

Surely the length of the/a contract is one of the first items that's discussed as opposed to the last. It's just absolutely incredulous that we find ourselves in this position and irrespective of the outcome we can only hope KLD will hold Speakman to account for this farce!!!

Think everyone just needs to calm down for the night, it’ll happen
I agree mate but it's easier said than done. We're all emotionally invested in our beloved club and can see that there's something not right. It's plain to see that there's an urgency about our current situation. As fans we're desperate for some good news. Feels like we're pissing in the wind at times when some of the people in control can't see what the rest of us can see so clearly.
I know we need to be patient but we're missing a trick not capitalising on momentum. The good feeling is over before it even got going. I'll wait it out but it really needs to happen sooner rather than later. I sincerely hope we don't fuck this up. The bloke wants to come and we all want him. Give him what he wants and needs and get it done.
