I am thinking purely about the likes of Huggins, Cirkin, Clarke and Roberts, players of their pedigree and quality are better than I expected. I think he did well to ID them and get the deals done. It only works if these types of player are blended into a squad with a rock solid keeper, centre half, centre mid etc. We have all seen the weak underbelly way too many times this season. I have said on another thread this evening I think he is sailing very close to the wind, he has complete autonomy over all football matters at safc and the season is starting to look like a catastrophe. Him not fronting up the first team post Johnson is truly awful, very easy for him to throw the three lads under the bus. I think he has something to offer but total control over football and the first team is not it.

Barely seen Huggins kick a ball. Id be worry about robust he is. Cirkin has a pretty moderate record so far, he has a hell of a lot to prove at both ends of the park despite being a nice footballer and Clarke and Roberts have done nothing as of yet though both probably have good ability given where they've been. Whether they deliver remains to be seen.

Jury is out for me
