I don't know what's going on or why things are taking so long.
We're programmed to be cynical and accept a shitshow because we are Sunderland. Never plain sailing. It's our lot in life.
Games coming and going without a Manager in charge is a risky road to be going down.
We have to act swiftly and get Keane appointed as soon as possible.
The atmosphere and frustration are only going to worsen the longer this drags on.
For the love of all things red and white and our sanity give him what he wants and get the deal done and let us focus on picking up points, promotion and winning football matches.

Any manager worth having would want some job security. Especially before he asks his would-be staff to uproot their lives and families.
I’d like to think the club understands this - but again, we have to bear in mind that our football decisions are now being made by someone who’s never had any involvement in running a club or senior football.

We have no fullbacks or one he has bought that is deemed not good enough to play despite a 6-0 hammering.
We have two fit centre halfs when we have been successful playing with a three.

Yes, I have posted about the first team squad being lopsided and dysfunctional, that's why I think the DOF job isn't for him at safc right now. Something he could be working towards possibly.

Although that isn't what Speakman said. He said they were still drawing up a shortlist which gave the impression they are dragging their heels. A week after sacking the manager and getting rid of all of our back up defenders. He hasn't covered himself in glory.
