I was just about to say he came across as a junior Tory Minister on early morning breakfast telly. It makes sense now.

Speakman is evidently completely out of his depth as Sporting Director although he's clearly on the ball regarding talent identification in fairness to him.

On Sunday night Johnson had gone and the defoe deal was back on. The fan’s responded with a massive crowd. Rumours of keane went into overdrive due to KLD liking a tweet about keane and it looked like an unbelievable thing was going to happen with massive crowds returning in league 1 and KLD would get to see the stadium bouncing as it should be. It sounds like speakman and co have ruined all enthusiasm and decided they are happy treading water in league 1 . If that is the case KLD and speakman should be ashamed. Big shock at the crowd next season when it drops to 20k. Many fans this season renewed when it looked like we were getting automatic promotion last season
