Roy Keane

Ok so here is what I’ve been told 100% no wind up, Keane was at the AOL this morning (still might be) he was actually at the match on Saturday but kept in a box no idea how he wasn’t spotted guessing he didn’t come out of the box (remember the fire alarm after the game). Told ‘they’ wanted to get these couple of games out of the way first before announcing Keane so Proctor and Dodds take the flak rather than Keane being rushed in and getting off to a bad start (makes no sense to me like) but he WILL be the next Sunderland manager! If this wasn’t me I would be calling it as bullshit and saying piss off but who I’ve been told from is ITK. Prehab or any of the other ITKs will be able to confirm some of these details I imagine (if they wish).

If you have been told that fair enough.

However the reason I think it’s utter bullshit, is because there is absolutely 0 chance Roy Keane would play along with it.

Are the people in charge seriously thinking that every single player in that squad doesn't up their level as soon as Keane walks in that dressing room? Whether he's had 5 days or 5 minutes with the squad him being there intensifies every bit of effort, raises every standard. Correct long term decision or not, we're in the short term and we're in the shit, get him in the door and get him in there now! Fuck sake.

That’s fair I would be the same. Roy Keane is going to be our next manager and that’s all I care about.

This, any who don't will be fecked from the moment he sets eyes on them. Get him in, give the place a lift and if nowt else get them playing with fear or fire.

When the fire alarm was going off, how did Keane escape?

And how did he get in that morning?
It would be impossible to watch it from the seats at the front of the box without being seen ffs.

Even if he had stood inside behind the glass all game, there is 0 way word wouldn't have got out from the amount of people who mill around the box corridors/toilets/communal areas.

Laughable suggestion to say he was here.

I can actually see the logic if we were languishing outside the playoffs for example and the season was a write off.

As our upcoming set of games are likely as kind as it gets on paper (including Doncaster), any incoming manager would surely want those games to start off with?

The fire marshall wants sacking - if Keane was there but not noted on his list of attendees there could have been hell on in the event of an evacuation. See Keith Lard for further details.

My son is normally ultra positive and backs the club to the hilt. At 19 he's had enough 😂 2 messages off him in the last 5 mins
"Same morons in charge tomorrow, shambles"
Then
"I hate us like never ending shite"
It's a shit age for them like. My lasses bairn is 19 and I feel for him. Aye they had the 2014 cup final and great escape when they were about 11, and a few wins against the mags, but we've been a laughing stock for years. Too young to properly remember our last promotion as well. Keeping lads that age, and especially the lads a few years younger, interested is going to be a massive challenge for the club. I take my 7 year old along but he doesn't enjoy it, I'm hoping his mates at school will get into it and he'll become more keen to go to games but I struggle to get the motivation myself so fuck knows why they'd have any
