"So Roy - look at this lovely data on the table, what does it tell you?"

"It tells me you've assembled a weak as piss squad of woefully inexperienced players, that's got a penchant for crumbling, and that you need to spend less f***ing time looking a spreadsheets and more time looking at football matches, you glorified organiser of youth team parents' evenings. Now fuck off back down to the academy and do what you've spent your whole career doing - shouting buzzwords at 15 year olds. ".
Bravo sir....bravo

I can see Keane getting it to the end of the season with an option to stay. He'll do well, maybe even get us up, everyone happy, then he'll walk away cos can't work with the charlatans and we'll all be crushed again. It's the Sun'lun way.

I disagree with it but ok, second interviews are required, fair enough we want to be thorough. But why the fuck would that mean we are also negotiating and if we come to an agreement we don't need second interviews? I think we've slit our own throats by sacking LJ here like, we're clueless.
The thing i do have sympathy with is the second bit. We needed to be further ahead in our 'what if the manager goes' system. Shouldn't we have done effectively some scouting on available people and due diligence before Johnson left? Then we had our short list - crack on and negotiate - appoint. It's taken too long for this crucial moment in our season. It feels like mistakes have been made here UNLESS it is not our own doing ie we're being made to wait by a preferred candidate or two.

What an absolute f***ing pisstake this is. What you should expect when you give complete control to some bloke who had an average job at a dying club in Birmingham City.

f***ing wanker.

People being hard on the club over time it’s taking here. It’s only been a week or so. Ipswich took almost two weeks to replace cook. Not something that gets sorted overnight.
Aye but we only sacked LJ because we want automatic promotion, but we're now heading into our 2nd wasted game with 2 blokes who are out of their depth. By the time we appoint a manager we'll have been better off sticking with the long term option.

Aye it's looking like a truly masterful plan/structure/philosophy/process/[insert bullshit buzzword here]. The philosophy of building a team around kids with no meaningful experience of first team football, and then acting amazed when they crumble under any sort of pressure. The philosophy of sacking a manager the day before transfer deadline day, and then leaving the club with only two fit senior centre halves.

We definitely need to protect the plan, at all costs. After all, it was drawn up by someone who ran youth teams for a Championship club. Those people don't grow on trees.

What a f***ing shambles this club is
