Fair enough, that's a bit more positive, but still a concern that, having got them into the PL, they weren't in the play off places when he left. Especially when added to the yoyoing of positions while at Preston. I know it rarely happens but I'd love to see us get someone with a track record of actually improving sides. Aye you might have a season where league position drops a couple of places, but generally coming in when they're 6th or whatever and progressing for a few seasons before leaving them 10th in the league above or something. I suppose anyone capable of that probably isn't still managing in league one mind, but that just furthers my opinion that we might as well take a gamble on someone like Terry and hope they're good, rather than going for proven mediocrity
