You talk a good game! I’m guessing you struggled to get a game for your primary school and never coached a team in your life! But hey - don’t let that stop you being the resident big gob who knows nowt!
Aren't you bored with this yet.
Guess again re my playing days Popeye. Couldn't be further from the truth.
Go and annoy someone else.

How about this as the scenario :-
Keane has a chat about possibly becoming manager and gauge the feeling of KLD and his ideas.
They both agree to have Keane put his requirements in writing after he speaks with his advisors ( Solicitor)
KLD and board now mulling over Keane’s conditions and now tweaking them slightly (basic bartering)
Now the contract is back in the hands of Keane to which of course needs further analysis and consideration with his solicitor.
These exchanges take time of course, he was only interviewed last Friday!!
Keane being Keane has probably turned around and said that the changes are not acceptable and that his terms are now unconditional.
Now KLD needs to get the agreement of the board and calls the meeting to put it to the vote.
Keane has given them a week to mull it over ,,,
Anyway just my thoughts which seems to me the most likely,
Could be completely wrong like 🤣

Fans at the ground didnt want that on Saturday. Booing when we were passing out from the back!
Yes, on 92 minutes at 1-2 down. Our problem is we have only one way of playing and if it isn’t working we haven’t a clue what to do, thus the number of heavy away defeats and pathetic home losses to the likes of Charlton, Lincoln and Doncaster.

Teams have sussed that if we play out from the back all the time, that if they close us down quickly and play aggressively against us and get in our faces all over the pitch our arses fall out and we get done.

We have good players for this level but are one dimensional tactically and badly set up. The performance against Doncaster was unforgivable.

eh? Who said anything about that? I asked an honest question in relation to someone else's point.
People are saying we only want a manager who sticks to what they perceive is Speakman’s style. Attacking football on the front foot is an aspiration we all want him to achieve - look at the moans there were about Parkinson - but of course we can’t have one of the worst defensive records alongside it and expect promotion. Speakman isn’t numb. If the data says we are losing games and shite defensively he won’t be saying ‘play the same style’.

Well I’d be amazed if you were right in this completely made up but very detailed scenario.

We are so easily beaten at times it's embarrassing. But it looks good on speakmans laptop data

An opinion from Ken Early in The Irish Times, who thinks Keane should stick to punditry:

What a load of shit. He shouldn’t be a manager because of a shooting drill at Villa and his tackle gets more views on YouTube than anything else he’s done.

KLD will be key here not speakman. If the owner wants him in then I'm sure he will go all out to get him, if the deal is not there to be had he will move on.

I don't think speakman gets to make the call on Keane.
