I said it before, and I'll say it again:

Sacking the manager and only then commencing the process to find his successor is being labelled as keeping our integrity, but what it really is, is naivety in the extreme.

Look at WBA for example. Sacked their manager and had Bruce in about 20 minutes later, because they did what every other club in world football does and had their current manager's successor ready to go.

I'm sure having our "integrity" will go down well with our fans during the playoffs, or make us feel better about getting pumped by bottom of League One Doncaster FFS.

Then you have the owner liking posts about Keane getting the job earlier in the week, which automatically means if for any reason he doesn't take the job, they have whoever the next manager is pissing against the wind from day one.

I like a lot of what the decision-makers have done to-date, but their handling of this whole episode has been shambolic.
You are right and in the predicament we are in, it’s criminal. Their dithering may well condemn us to another season in this league.

I doubt he’ll be here before Tuesday’s game, and with automatic promotion being over now I suppose it doesn’t really matter if Speakman wants to take another week for some reason. Disappointing how poorly they’ve handled it though.
We could miss out on the play offs

Everything that the club have done over the last month or so both in terms of our transfer business and the whole management debacle screams out that we're still an absolute basket case. Those clownshoes running the show are in for one hell of a shock if they think we'll be averaging anywhere near 30k when we're stuck in this league for a 5th consecutive season.
Are we any further forward after a year of speakman and KLD running the show? In the table we arent tbh.

Wasn't what Speakman said, which was reported yesterday, most likely picked up from what was said way earlier this week...

Still believe the press are days behind this.

Words and actions on ITV Friday and today are blindingly obvious.

No one has reported this with much clarity or up to date (as in relevant to the most recent 24 hour time frame) all week.

Speakman stuff was done live yesterday pre match, so either he isn’t being truthful or we genuinely aren’t ready to appoint Keane or anyone

Unless Keane is on the training ground tomorrow morning chinning our pathetic players then Tuesday will be another poor result. 15 games left after that

It would be extremely amateur of the club to let another game go.

I do think Keane will be announced soon but it was pure arrogance on our part to think we’d win yesterday just because it was Doncaster.

I would be telling Speakman if there’s no manager in place by Tuesday and we don’t win he can clear his desk.
Got me seething now like. What is speakman doing from month to month exactly. This season has turned into a complete disaster.

Don’t we have to under the Rooney rule now
No. All the club has to say is that there was only ever one candidate in mind and that’s it.

This f***ing idiot Speakman thinks we’re Man City. Someone might want to point out to him we are struggling to make the playoffs in the third division while the likes of Wigan and Rotherham play direct balls into the box and are going up by a massive margin.

All this shit about “oh we’ve got a progression plan for Neil to be our captain in the PL”. Fuck off.
